Meet the Doctor

Dr. Joseph J. Ceravolo

Dr. Joseph J. Ceravolo is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in biology. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and obtained the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1984. Following a periodontal surgical residency program at Baylor College of Dentistry, he was awarded a Specialty certificate in Periodontics in 1986. Following completion of his education, he returned to the Palm Beach area and began a private practice limited to periodontics.

Dr. Ceravolo’s interests involve reconstructive plastic surgery of the gingival tissues, regenerative and augmentation procedures of the bone, soft tissue laser therapy for treating periodontal disease and enhancing the smile, and the placement of dental implants. Dr. Ceravolo has worked closely with some of the area’s prominent restorative dentists to cosmetically enhance the gum tissues prior to the placement of new aesthetic restorations. Having an intensive interest in new technologies and procedures, Dr. Ceravolo constantly updates his continuing education both in the fields of periodontics/implantology and aesthetic dentistry. He was recently awarded a Certificate in Advanced Periodontal Aesthetics from the Larry Rosenthal Institute and Aesthetic Advantage Seminars. He is a contributing member of the ADEPT and AAED dental study clubs.

Dr. Ceravolo is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the North Palm Beach Dental Society.
